Replaceable sounds
Although the Nord Piano Library is well represented in the Nord Stage 3 Factory Bank, you can quickly add or remove any of these sounds using the Nord Sound Manager. Our premium Nord Piano Library is continuously updated with fresh, premium sounds of the highest caliber and is always free.
Long Release
A Long Release-mode simulates a looser damper tension in an acoustic or electromechanical instrument by adding a slightly longer release that is more suited for legato playing.
Nord Triple Pedal
The Nord Stage 3 Compact Triple Pedal (optional item) includes our special dynamic sustain pedal that allows for the usage of half-pedaling, “release and catch,” and Sustenuto and Soft Pedals. The thomp and sizzle noises that are produced when the damper mechanism is raised and lowered mechanically are likewise replicated by the Nord Triple Pedal. The Nord Triple Pedal’s Pedal Noise function reacts dynamically to the pressure or momentum applied when the sustain pedal is depressed or released.
