1967 Rickenbacker 456 6/12 Convertible Fireglo Finish Electric Guitar For Sale. As you can see from the photos, this genuine vintage (first year) 1967 Rickenbacker 456-12 convertible is in amazing shape. She is completely stock and in perfect playing condition. The for '67 is even more rare than the 456-12; just a few quantity were made over its entire manufacture cycle. The frets are like brand-new, and the neck is very fast and straight. The toaster pickups are faultless and provide a fantastic, crispy, jangly tone. Excellent intonation that is constant. The original comb is still present, useful, and even tuneful (gasp)!

This authentic vintage (first year) 1967 Rickenbacker 456-12 convertible is in absolutely beautiful condition, as you can see in the pictures. She is in immaculate playing shape and is entirely stock. Even more uncommon than the 456-12 is the for ’67, of which only a few number were produced over its entire manufacturing run. The frets are like new, and the neck is lightning quick and arrow straight. The toaster pickups are flawless and provide a fantastic, crispy, jangly ric tone. Excellent and consistent intonation. The original comb is still there, functional, and even (gasp) tuneful!
She is in beautiful shape on the outside, as seen by the pictures. She proudly displays just the modest, natural, and expected play wear one would expect of a well-loved instrument of her age and provenance, largely limited to the sides, comb region, and minor pickguard cracking, all of which are included at no additional cost. The finish is extremely warm and pink. For the musician, collector, or pro studio for whom the genuine thing really important, this is a very gorgeous old antique ric. There is also a non-original hardshell grade case (not seen in the photo). Definitely really great.
