It is in flawless operating shape and comes with the original hardshell case. This Rickenbacker has a natural Mapleglo gloss finish that shows flame figures stretching down the bass side of the body, neck through maple body construction, and healthy sustain. This Rickenbacker thumps and growls with the best and delivers healthy sustain. The bass is 9 pounds and 2 ounces, with new 45-105 roundwound strings, and two original Hi-Gain pickups that provide lots of middle power and punch. The original bridge pickup bezel and bridge assembly, as well as the adjustable mute and functional mute foam, are also examples of the chrome-plated gear that has been retained in very good condition.
Cosmetic wear is restricted to a bit of mild buckle rash central to the upper bout on the back and a few other small markings on the body as a whole, largely confined to the back. The Mapleglo gloss finish is 100% original with no touchup or overspray. Nearly immaculate gloss finish on the neck profile.
Included is the original black tolex hardshell case with a blue inside made of soft leather and black leather ends. The stock handle is there, and all three latches are whole and functioning.
