Description
1989 Rickenbacker 330 Thinline Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Mapleglo For Sale
1989 Rickenbacker 330 Thinline Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar – Mapleglo For Sale. The Rickenbacker 330, one of the most well-known Rick guitars now in existence, is a favorite of many well-known musicians, including Tom Petty, Pete Townshend, Carrie Brownstein, and Johnny Marr. The 330 has Rickenbacker’s traditional maple semi-hollow crescent moon body shape. The Rickenbacker Toaster pickups that came with older 330 models are more suited to a tone a la The Beatles, whilst the more recent Hi-Gain pickups can sound more like The Smiths. The Rickenbacker 330 is excellent for a jangly, British-sounding tone in any case.
