Will be sent in the original manufacturer shipping carton, which will be put within yet another protective outer box. Includes Hard Shell case and an unopened accessories bundle. This bass will be sent to you in the exact condition as I did: brand new with very minor clear coat flaws (mentioned below in this description and clearly detailed in the photos). The bass is rated as “Very Good” despite the aforementioned relatively little clear coat flaws. However, it really is new!

The color and finish are exquisite. It has more of a brownish colour in person. It seems to have more of a reddish/brown tinge in the images I’ve given, fading towards yellow. Make careful to compare each and every picture. You can see more of the genuine brownish hue in several of them. I assumed that this occurred as a result of my using my camera’s flash while capturing nighttime shots.

Naturally, the lovely, much sought-after Rickenbacker Checkerboard Binding is also included with this Rickenbacker Bass. This bass really is a piece of beauty!

I’ve displayed what seem to be a few extremely little, very hard to shoot finish smudges in a few of the pictures. If I didn’t point them out, you may not even realize that there are these little regions. They resemble possibly a little grain of rice or the tip of a pencil in terms of size (please see the photos where I am pointing to them with a pencil lead). I’m talking about the regions at the border of the top part of the headstock and next to the input jack plate. The attached photographs accurately depict how this bass left the manufacturer. The things I’m pointing out are so minor and have no bearing on how beautiful this priceless instrument is. Unless the light is shining at precisely the right angle, it might be difficult to perceive these minor surface flaws. Even though I know I won’t be able to retain this bass, I didn’t want to touch the finish since they would probably buff out. Not to say, I’m not at all bothered by those little regions. To the best of my abilities and in the sake of complete transparency, I will nevertheless go into great length about every aspect of this bass.

Sincerely, I do not want to sell my bass, but a lot has happened since I ordered it about two years ago, and I am now unable to afford to maintain it. It has only ever been taken out of the case twice—once for an examination and a quick functioning test, and once more for pictures. It has only been played for five minutes to make sure everything is functioning properly. It is almost like a whole new instrument. I simply didn’t post it as brand new since I didn’t buy it; I’m not a dealer. I’m simply a private seller and musician who regrettably has to sell this fantastic instrument.
