Buy Gibson Skylark EH-500 Lap Steel – 1966 P Online. A stunning specimen of a mid-1960s Skylark Lap Steel crafted from Korina wood (aka, African Limba wood). It is in excellent condition and has apparently had a carefree life. Stephen Gilchrist, the mandolin’s master craftsman, screwed legs into this instrument at some point; these legs have been covered with extremely lovely, custom-made pickguard plastic pieces. The pickup sounds amazing! If you’re looking for one of the three Gibson Korina models from back in the day, here it is! The item includes its original hard shell case.
