Buy Early 1950’s Fender Champion Champ Lap Steel with Tweed Case 100% Original Online. This is an early 50’s Fender Champion Lap Steel. Serial number 9170. It is 100% original and functional in every way. The pots have solder on the date codes and can’t be dated, the masking tape in the cavity is also tough to decipher. I want to say 1952, but I can’t be sure. The pickup reads 6.48 through a cable.
The tuner buttons are intact. Rough, but intact. This has the upgraded tweed hard case, which is also in good shape. This is one of the nicer champions with all the good parts still here. Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions.
