1964 Fender Champ Amplifier PRE CBS Model 5F1 Production 81 ND Black Tolex Case All Original Vintage Super Clean Condition

This is an all original practically Mint Pre-CBS 1964 Fender Champ Amp, a rare Black Tolex Model 5F1, production 81. Stamped with the Assembly date ND, designating it was made 1964 in April, the last year of the original 1960’s Pre-CBS Champ design. This Super clean all original Classic Fender Champ is a true closet queen that had sat for years un-played and unused.

The Black Tolex covering material is in excellent condition, just a little dust. There are no rips or tears, water damage or burn marks, and the original handle is also in excellent condition. The original front grill material has no rips or snags, also in excellent condition. The chrome control plate is in excellent condition and still even has the original paint in the volume number stamping. Everything is original, the speaker, the original two prong power cord, all the electronics including the lightbulb and the fuse. All of the caps, circuitry and solder points are original. All of the tubes are the originals. The original speaker and power transformers all have the proper date stamp codes of February 1964, as shown in the photos. The Serial Number stamped into the top of the control plate is C21886, dating it as early 1964.
