Buy Fender Champion Lap Steel 1950’s Tweed Online. This is a very nice Fender Champion lap steel, made in the early 50’s. This one still has all its original telecaster parts, knobs, pots, pickup, etc… The only thing changed are the buttons on the klusons. The serial # is 1068. Although the pots are original both dates are covered with solder so we can’t accurately date this one but it is early 50’s. It works fine, sounds great, and comes with the original tweed case.
