Fender JB-62 Jazz Bass ’62 Reissue 3-Tone Sunburst CIJ 1993-94 Crafted in Japan For Sale. This 1990s Japanese edition of a Fender ’62 Jazz Bass is in perfect playing condition. This bass is a prime example of the excellent craftsmanship and enjoyable playing feel that have made CIJ instruments so well-liked. This guitar has a great set of (non-original) Duncan SJB2 pickups and a fast, smooth maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. It has lots of vintage J-Bass power.

This bass is a prime example of the excellent craftsmanship and enjoyable playing feel that have made CIJ instruments so well-liked. This guitar has a great set of (non-original) Duncan SJB2 pickups and a fast, smooth maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. It has lots of vintage J-Bass power.
The pickups have been changed to Duncans, the neck plate has been replaced with one from Freedom Custom Guitar Works, and the body has been sanded/relic’d (see photographs). Additionally, the pickguard has normal cosmetic wear throughout, including a few screw holes where the thumb rest was removed. With a recent setup from our shop, this bass is in fantastic shape overall and the neck and frets are in excellent condition.
