Gibson Les Paul R9 1959 les paul Standard custom art historic 2004 Cherry sunburst For Sale. A stunning R9 from the year 2004. With the exception of the truss rod cover, this R9 has been very well maintained. She is in excellent condition despite some minor scuffs and play wear. Beautiful and incredibly 3D, the top. It has the perfect amount of flame—not too much nor too little—and some lovely natural mineral streaks that run vertically, exactly like the old ones.
Additionally, the Rosewood fretboard has some very lovely figure and a fantastic top carving. Although not a baseball bat, the neck has a beautiful 59 profile and is very lovely and full. Also, nicely curled edges!
