It plays nicely and has minimal further wear, including hardly noticeable fret wear. The original 498R and 490T pickup system with chrome-plated covers are still in use on this Gibson Les Paul Standard, which also has the original pickguard. The pickguard is included but not attached in the present manufacture. The tuners are the original enclosed gear in the Gibson Deluxe type with Keystone buttons made of plastic, and they operate extremely smoothly. Buy Gibson Les Paul Standard 1998 Cherry burst Online. A chrome-plated Nashville-style tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece set are installed at the opposite end. Currently, the tailpiece has a large saddle down bearing angle and has been placed a few turns over the top.
This Gibson Les Paul Standard seems to have a solid Mahogany back and a two-piece Maple crown, but it lacks weight relief or chambering. Mahogany serves as the neck’s body, and an Indian Rosewood fingerboard. Mother of Pearl makes up the Gibson emblem on the headstock, while acrylic makes up the traditional trapezoid position marks.
This guitar has a conventional action height and performs well. The medium-sized frets have little wear and are in excellent condition.
