Ibanez released the RG8570MW, a type of RG Series solid body electric guitar, in September 2016. It was made public to mark the 20th anniversary of the meticulously produced Japanese J Custom Series. Fujigen made it in Japan. The RG8570MW guitar has a rosewood fingerboard with a Tree of Life vine inlay, a myrtle top over an ash body, and titanium-reinforced maple and walnut neck. The guitar has recessed Easy Access control knobs, two humbucking DiMarzio pickups surrounding a single coil, a Lo Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, and Gotoh tuning machines.
