Al Cisneros, a longtime Rickenbacker bassist who plays bass and sings for the band Sleep, collaborated with Rickenbacker on the creation of this new bass. The 4003AC has a few rather distinctive characteristics, thanks to Al: Two hot wound treble pickups (Bezels included); Green “Sleep” inlays; Al Cisneros trademark pickguard; Oil finish; Walnut body; Maple neck; and newly redesigned tailpiece and bridge.
