Buy RICKENBACKER 4003S5 E-Bass in Matte Black “B-Stock” Online. The renowned manufacturer RICKENBACKER is giving its product line new life with the new 4003S/5 model. The Santa Ana, California, guitar shop hasn’t made a 5-string in years, but the 2018 model includes a few minor updates.
The basses have brand-new single coil pickups in addition to a sturdy Schaller 3D-5 bridge and larger string spacing. Two blade magnets that are positioned further apart from each other and toward the B string are part of the pickup’s new design. Wider magnetic field produced as a result allows for equal pickup of all strings.
Since the fretboard of the model 4003S/5 is constructed of Caribbean Rosewood (Metopium Brownei), it is exempt from CITES Appendice 2 regulations.
